Not a single big country is interested in dialogue and diplomacy over bullets and bombs
In Gaza and Lebanon the tragic stories of refugees reminds me of the devastating human cost of war and territorial conflict. We lived it from 1988 till 2020 in #Azerbaijan during Armenian occupation of 20% of our territories.
Thousands of refugees from Gaza, Lebanon, fleeing war, mirror the plight of Azerbaijani #refugees counting to almost 1 million forced to flee during the Armenian occupation of Karabakh.
These people—families, children, elders—are caught in the crossfire of disputes that have festered for decades, bearing scars that go far beyond borders. UN says 200, 000 refugees fled Lebanon in the wake of Israel – Lebanon escalation plus Iran’s missile attack on Israel yesterday evening.
We must unequivocally condemn these wars. Violence only deepens divisions and prolongs suffering, pushing innocent civilians to live in constant fear and uncertainty. No cause justifies the loss of life, the destruction of homes, or the uprooting of entire communities.
Peace is the only true path forward. Unfortunately, the world is divided and no country cares about international norms of law and peaceful world order. What I see not a single big country is interested in dialogue and diplomacy over bullets and bombs. Remember, behind every dispute are human beings, whose lives should not be defined by endless conflict but by the hope of a peaceful future.
