Fuzuli has become a symbol of Azerbaijan’s strength in rebuilding the deoccupied territories

Four years have passed since the liberation of Fuzuli city from Armenian occupation. Fuzuli had been under occupation for almost thirty years, during which Armenians had destroyed the town. Cultural heritage sites, residential buildings, and infrastructure had been razed to the ground, leaving the city in ruins. However, the Azerbaijani government immediately began efforts to rebuild Fuzuli and bring new life to the area.

Today, Fuzuli’s airport is a striking sight. Roads, electricity, water, and other infrastructure have been rebuilt, and modern residential neighborhoods have been established. The first residents of Fuzuli have already returned to the restored areas and started their new lives there. The reconstruction of the city reaffirms the Azerbaijani government’s commitment to the future development of the liberated territories and the establishment of a sustainable life there.

Fuzuli has become a symbol of Azerbaijan’s strength in rebuilding the deoccupied territories and bringing a new life to deadly areas that once flourished on full scale under Azerbaijan’s rule.
