Invitation to Event_Azerbaijan’s Participation in Eastern Partnership_22 November, at 12.00 in Baku
Pro-democracy Oppositional Public Chamber of Azerbaijan is organizing a public discussion on “Azerbaijan’s Participation in Eastern Partnership: Barriers and Perspective facing Euro integration”.
Please, note that “In spring 2009, the EU launched a new policy towards its Eastern neighbours, the Eastern Partnership (EaP), developed in the course of 2008. Heads of State or Government and representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, and Ukraine, as well as representatives of the EU, and Heads of State or Government and representatives of its Member States signed a Joint Declaration at their meeting in Prague on 7 May. The Declaration says the initiative will “advance the cause of democracy, [and] strengthen stability and prosperity, bringing lasting and palpable benefits to citizens of all participating states”
